Last year Canterbury’s medical officer of health, one Dr Alistair R G Humphrey (MPH MHL FAFPHM FRACGP), publicly accused McDonald’s “of selling a product that is killing a lot of New Zealanders.”
He went on to liken the restaurant chain to murderous Colombian drug-dealer Pablo Escobar.
