First 4000 Kiwibuild homes announced — but not all will be affordable

The government has announced it intends building 3000-4000 homes on 29.3 hectares (around 72 acres) of land bought from Unitec, 9km from Auckland's city centre.

But not all the homes will be affordable ones under the government’s KiwiBuild policy.
