Emirates opts for Bali as Asian stopover for new Auckland-Dubai service

The Dubai-based airline is cutting all but one of its services through Australia.

Emirates Airline has opted for Bali rather than Bangkok or another Asian stopover for its new direct service from Auckland to Dubai.

The daily service, which starts on June 14, will mean a two-hour stop for those travelling on to Dubai from Auckland.
