Duke’s cosmetics company has small success in $1.7m dispute

BDM Grange and Trimex had worked with each other for nearly 20 years but parted ways in 2012.

A cosmetics company half-owned by retail mogul Rod Duke has had minor success in appealing a court judgment that ordered it to pay a former business partner $1.7 million.

Mr Duke's company, BDM Grange, has had the amount it has to pay to Australian distributor Trimex reduced by $250,000.
