Drury downplays sluggish customer growth in Xero's US market

Xero reduced its cash burn and its net loss in the six months ended September but growth in the United states remains sluggish.

Accounting software company Xero added just 15,000 US customers in the six months ended September, taking the total to 77,000.

In the same six months last year, Xero added 12,000 US customers and it added 15,000 in the six months ended March this year.

By contrast, Intuit added 116,000
