Last Saturday’s infamous tweet by socialite Pebbles Hooper may not have breached Twitter’s terms and conditions – even though it caused a lot of outrage and forced her resignation from the NZ Herald.

The social media website says it does not comment directly on users’ tweets but referred NBR
