IT services outfit Datacom, majority owned by NBR Rich Lister John Holdsworth, has bought Origen Technologies – the Tauranga-based maker of Ozone, a software platform for local authorities.

On a conference call, Datacom Group CEO Jonathan Ladd said Origen’s software is now used by around 20%
