Crying foul: NZ cruise industry facing major slump

Biofouling concerns and a difficult and expensive regulatory regime has set the NZ cruise season back seven years, industry says.

Cruise line bookings could be down 42% next season, undermined by settings that have made New Zealand the "most expensive place in the world for a cruise ship to visit", says the industry.
