Continuing record migrants adds pressure to housing market

Strong net migration gains counter Reserve Bank LVR measures.

The demand pressures on the housing market are mounting with the latest migration figures showing the nation gained another 6000 residents in February, the sixth successive month of gains above that figure.

That took the annual net gain to a fresh record of 71,333 people.
