Contact has a 15-year contract to ensure its gas supply
Contact Energy is selling its Ahuroa gas storage facility to Australian-owned Gas Services New Zealand for $200 million.
The electricity generator has also signed a 15-year contract, with options to extend at five-yearly intervals to ensure it has access to run its gas-fired power stations
