Colin Craig quits as Conservative leader: who is waiting in the wings?
Colin Craig said he had agreed to stand down. It is not clear if he will stand in a leadership ballot.
In something of a political first, Conservative Party leader Colin Craig today announced his resignation as leader and refused to answer any questions.
Both Mr Craig and party president Brian Dobbs read out prepared statements and then scurried off, pursued by cameras and journalists.
