Christchurch ponzi scheme operator gets eight years

Christchurch businessman Paul Hibbs has been convicted and jailed for eight years on charges brought by the Serious Fraud Office after he defrauded investors through a ponzi scheme.

Mr Hibbs, formerly a private banker,  ran two companies through which he provided clients with false investment
