China's downturn and shipping trends eat into POAL's volumes and revenue

First half anything but plain sailing.

A fall in volumes and revenue have not affected Ports of Auckland's half-year profit of $31.6 million, up 9.5% over last year.

Revenue is down 2.2% to $106.1 million, compared to the same period last year, while container volumes were down 3.3% to 474,613 TEU (20ft equivalent units),  breakbulk
