China tourism plan won't bring more tourists – but they may stay longer: top tourism official

Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA) chief executive Chris Roberts doesn’t think the 2019 China-New Zealand Year of Tourism will significantly increase the number of Chinese tourists coming to New Zealand.

In fact, he says the overall number of tourists from China is slowing.
