Character building conversion leads the way at Wynyard Quarter

The $6 million refurbishment of the five-level building is a “seed” project within Waterfront Auckland's innovation precinct.

Waterfront Auckland has taken a lead in showing how a 90-year-old building can be refurbished sympathetically to achieve a five-star green rating. 

The Lysaght building was erected in the 1920s and its name comes from the original tenant who operated an ironmongery from the site.
