Callaghan can’t claw back millions in grants to failed CricHQ

Receivership both bad news and good news for the Crown agency, which faces losing potentially half its funding under Labour.

Crown agency Callaghan Innovation will not be able to retrieve more than $2 million in grants to CricHQ, which went into receivership early this week (KordaMentha is hopeful of a sale).

“CricHQ received project grants between May 2011 and April 2014 totalling $2,156,116,” Callaghan spokesman
