Brewers line up to buy two top international beer brands

Japan's Asahi is said to have already lined up $US3 billion for a purchase.

Three major Asian brewers are said to be considering bids of more than $US3 billion to buy two international beer brands, Peroni and Grolsch.

The two European brands are for sale as a result of the mega-merger of Anheuser-Busch InBev and SABMiller.
