‘Blatant lies’ lead to fines for bee pollen marketer
Case follows 15 years on from similar claims made by then Auckland mayor John Banks.

A severe fine against a company director has been imposed by the Auckland District Court for “blatant fabrications and lies” in marketing bee pollen.
Jeffrey Bernard Cook, a director and main shareholder of Topline International, was fined $121,500 for 22 breaches of the Fair Trading Act.
