Three years of wasted effort and money is the Auckland Chamber of Commerce chief executive Michael Barnett’s verdict on Auckland Council’s new $500,000 slogan.
The slogan – “The place desired by many” – is a stilted translation of the city’s Maori name Tamaki Makaurau.
