Auckland, Wellington drop on list of world's most expensive cities

Falling currencies and commodities have decreased living costs for expatriates.

The cost of living for expats around the world has fallen in the latest Economist survey of the world’s most expensive cities.

Auckland has fallen to 38th equal with Madrid and Barcelona while Wellington is 42nd equal with Nouméa and Stockholm.
