Auckland firms fined $400,000 in first steel mesh prosecution

Guilty pleas entered on seven charges.

Two Auckland companies, which made false representations about the quality of its steel mesh, have been fined just over $400,000 by a District Court judge.

Timber King and NZ Steel Distributor, both directed by Jackie (Yong) Liu entered guilty pleas to a total of seven representative charges
