Auckland councillors seek official probe into City Rail Link costs
Councillors concerned work has already started yet there is no formal funding agreement between Auckland Council and the government.

The Auditor-General has been asked to investigate the $2.5 billion cost of Auckland Council’s City Rail Link (CRL) project and how it will be split and its eventual operation which could add a 7% increase to rates.
