ASB's rate of profit growth slowed in the September quarter
ASB's profit growth slows, charges for bad debt fall and it continues to show willingness to lose mortgage market share.

ASB Bank’s profit growth in the September quarter slowed to 4.5%, although charges against profit for bad loans fell slightly.
Rising provisioning against its dairy sector lending was a feature of the bank’s results for the year ended June when net profit rose 6.6%.
