A2 Milk profit leaps nearly seven-fold, directors receive big pay increase

The directors got their $350,000 increase in fees at the meeting but nearly 29% of proxies opposed the move.

A2 Milk shares jumped more than 8% after the company told Tuesday's annual shareholders' meeting sales in the first four months of the financial year almost doubled and that net profit is up nearly seven-fold.

A2 shares rose as high as $2.24 after the meeting from $2.07 on Monday before ending
