A2 legal action says Lion milk brands are deceptive and misleading

After complaining since last year about other Australian brands trying to pass them off as being the same as A2 Milk's products, the milk company has launched legal action against Kirin-owned Lion Group.

A2 Milk has started a legal battle in Australia with Lion Group’s Dairy and Drinks subsidiary over its use of the term “A2 protein” on packs of its Pura and Dairy Farmers branded milk.

A2, which has patented the trademark A2 Milk, says in its statement of claim filed in the Federal Court in Sydney
