US company Comcast has launched a bid to buy Sky TV UK for £22 billion.

On a per capita basis, that’s like someone offering £1.9 billion or $3.2 billion for Sky TV New Zealand (Sky TV NZ, whose stock is down 40% over the past 12 months, had a market cap of $887 million at yesterday’s closing
