$180 million at stake in Chorus backdating decision — analyst
Suddenly, the shoe is on the other foot as the Commerce Commission pushes out its final decision on Chorus' copper line pricing and, more significantly, leans toward modest backdating.
"Retail ISPs, particularly Spark [NZX: SPK], will take huge relief from the ComCom’s emerging view today that wholesale UCLFS and UCLL [copper line] charges should not be backdated before December 1, 2014," says IDC NZ research director Peter Wise.
