Colliers International is delighted to announce the expansion of its Rotorua office with a new member joining the Commercial and Industrial Team.
Mat Gibbard will be joining Mark Rendell and Chris Meban (Rural and Agribusiness), working alongside Rendell in the increasingly buoyant Rotorua commercial and industrial leasing and sales field.
Rendell is excited to have Gibbard on board with his extensive knowledge in leasing and sales and high level of respect in the industry for his honesty and integrity.
“Mat will bring a new dynamic to the Rotorua team,” Rendell says. “We’re really looking forward to working with him and adding another dimension to our team in the Rotorua market.”
Gibbard has a history in industrial insurance, and for the past four years in commercial real estate at Bayleys in Tauranga.
Gibbard says the move to Rotorua will enable him to continue working with his existing Tauranga clients, as well as expanding the Rotorua market alongside Rendell.
“I have a great deal of respect for Mark and his considerable knowledge of the local market,” he says. “I’m really looking forward to working with him and getting to know the local clients.”
Gibbard says both he and Rendell share an interest in biking.
“The move to Rotorua brings me a much greater opportunity for work/life balance – and being a passionate mountain biker, I’m looking forward to being able to take advantage of the amazing trails Rotorua has to offer.”
Rotorua is Colliers International’s 20th office in New Zealand, opening in July 2016. The Rotorua office now has plans in motion to rebuild a new, larger office at its current location at 1204 Arawa Street to accommodate its ongoing expansion.
