For a dramatic job exit, this one’s hard to beat.

JetBlue Airways flight attendant Steven Slater chose to use the plane’s inflatable evacuation chute for a dramatic exit from the aircraft, stalled on the tarmac at John F. Kennedy Airport this week.

The 38-year old was reported to have been upset when a passenger refused to apologise for accidentally striking him with their luggage as they taxied towards takeoff.

After spewing obscenities over the PA system, Mr Slater activated the plane’s emergency chute, grabbed two beers from the gallery and slid down the side into the terminal.

He then got into a vehicle in the employee parking lot, and left the airport.
