New Zealand’s third largest telco, Vocus Group, is trying to become a major player in the cyber security industry while also dipping its toes in cloud backup services.

The company owns retail service providers such as Orcon, Slingshot, and Flip after it merged with M2 last year. Vocus Communications is one of its business-to-business divisions.

Vocus Communications director of wholesale, corporate and government Maxine Elliott caught up with NBR's Andrew Patterson to discuss the company's latest moves.
