Vinta Property Group taps industry expert to head NZ Funds Management arm

Leading Australasian private integrated property group, Vinta, today announced the appointment of Michael Holloway into the role of Head of Funds Management (New Zealand).

Michael brings over two decades’ experience in property investment management to the position, which will see him take charge of all elements of funds management for the New Zealand arm of the trans-Tasman organisation.

Prior to joining Vinta Michael spent six years in the role of General Manager (Property) at Trust Management and before that was the country lead for GE New Zealand Real Estate from 2004 until 2008.

Throughout his career Michael has been the recipient of a number of industry awards and honours including, most recently, the winner of the 2015 Property Fund Management Team of the Year awarded by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

In 2011 Michael was elected as a Fellow of the RICS and in 2014 was also elected to the role of Vice-President of the Property Council of NZ (Auckland Branch).

Peter Vogliotti, Vinta CEO, said that it was Michael’s impressive global track record, established over time spent in the UK and Europe, as well as New Zealand, which prompted Vinta to approach him for the role.
