Two-thirds of Kiwi workers looking for a new job – report
The number of people looking to leave their employment has doubled since last year.

Almost two-thirds of Kiwi employees plan to leave their job within the next year, according to recruitment company Randstad.
In its World of Work Report – which surveyed 1620 New Zealanders, including 970 employees and 650 employers – 61% want to change jobs, up from 33% a year ago.
Randstad New Zealand's director Paul Robinson says this is a sign of a strengthening economy.
"Employees are considerably more optimistic about the opportunities the New Year will bring compared with 2012, which was due to the economy hitting a number of speed bumps earlier this year.
"When the economy shows signs of instability we generally see reduced worker mobility and it's natural in times of uncertainty for workers to tread a cautious path and stick with what they know."
The survey shows younger workers are the most secure in their jobs, with 21% of Generation Y employees feeling less secure than they did in 2011.
Conversely, 40% of mature employees feel more vulnerable in their present position.
The report also gives the most common reasons why people want to move: 40% of those planning to leave cite a lack of professional growth opportunities, while 16% say it is because of an uncompetitive salary.
Eight percent want to leave because they are not suited to the job and another 8% cite a bad relationship with their manager.
