Trump calls for Apple boycott ... from an iPhone
Is he having a laugh?

Donald Trump has called for a boycott on Apple products until the iPhone maker bows to FBI pressure to all access to its customers' encrypted files.
"First of all, Apple ought to give the security for that phone," the Republican presidential contender told a crowd in South Carolina. "What I think you ought to do is boycott Apple until such time as they give that security number."
It's not surprising this bumper-sticker politician doesn't have much time for the nuances of privacy vs personal security debate, and the values the War on Terror should be trying to protect.
But a follow-up tweet by Mr Trump does amuse. TechCrunch editor Matthew Panzarino points out it appears to have been made from an iPhone (see image below).
Hopefully soon Donald will get with his own boycott ... though that might also make him realise that following Motorola's sale, Apple is the only major US company making smartphones any more.
