Meet Brian Bluck. He beats Ken Ring.
As TV3 itself revealed today (after, cough, a little prompting from the rabble in Twitter), In July 1996 the channel aired an Inside New Zealand documentary called Earthquakes.
The documentary revealed building engineer Brian Bluck's concern about what he saw as Christchurch's fatal flaws: fault lines, spongy soil and liquefaction. Its animations predict many of the problems that tragically struck on February 22 as buildings collapsed.
