This week the Auckland Theatre Company announced that TelstraClear has joined the Company as a Premier Partner.
They join New Zealand Post as one of the Company’s leading corporate supporters and will present the season of Auckland Theatre Company’s mid year production of “Stepping Out” at Skycity Theatre in June. They will also support the subsequent North Island tour (North Shore, Hamilton, the Hawkes Bay, Taranaki and Tauranga). in July and August.
ATC at present obtains major funding from Creative New Zealand and Auckland City along with the Lion Foundation and the ASB Community Trust
In addition, TelstraClear will work with Auckland Theatre Company to provide innovative telecommunications solutions to help extend its reach in the community.
TelstraClear Head of Business and Government, Michael Boggs, said it was a partnership that provided value for both parties.

The mid year season of "Stepping Out” was written by Richard Harris and first preformed in 1988. It is set in a church hall and follows the interconnected lives of seven women and one man who attend a weekly tap-dancing class. When they decide to become involved in a charity event thye have to raise their level of performance with surprising results.
