Sky TV's long-time corporate communications director Kirsty Way tells NBR she's resigning from the company.
Ms Way joined Sky as interactive business development manager in 2001 after a stint in marketing for BSkyB.
She also served as the pay TV broadcaster's commercial and partnerships manager before becoming head of corporate communications in 2011 and director of corporate comms the following year, and a member of the company's inner circle.
Ms Way says she's stepping down to focus more on her family. She will do some consultancy work for Sky.
NBR understands Ms Way is one of a number of staff who are departing. Had the Commerce Commission not ruled against it, Sky would now be in the process of merging with Vodafone. As things stand, the regulator's decision is under appeal.
