SeaDragon [NZX: SEA], which manufactures fish oil for health supplements, named Tetra Laval executive Colin Groves as chairman, replacing Doug Wilson, who announced his departure along with chief executive Ross Keeley this week.
Groves is director of mergers and acquisitions at Sweden-based food processing and packaging group Tetra Laval, and in November was named chairman of MEA Mobile, the mobile app maker that counts Stephen Tindall's K1W1 fund as its third-biggest investor and is said to be mulling a public listing.
Groves will join the SeaDragon board in June. Wilson resigned this week saying he wanted to focus on other interests including development of pharmaceuticals.
Shares of SeaDragon last traded at 1.6 cents, a low it last touched in September 2013, and has fallen 27 percent this year.
