RightWay, New Zealand’s fastest growing accounting and advisory firm, today announced a further step in their expansion plans.
The company, which aims to help SMEs earn more and stress less with offices across New Zealand and Australia, has appointed former Xero director Graham Shaw as a Director.
“Graham brings a wealth of high growth business and governance experience to our team,” says RightWay chairman and co-founder Hamish Edwards, who worked alongside Graham in launching and growing Xero with Rod Drury for nine years. “He will be of enormous value to our RightWay board.”
RightWay has grown from four to 64 staff in just four years. Graham Shaw will be helping RightWay expand further in both New Zealand, Australia and across the globe.
“I’ve watched RightWay with interest as it developed its strategy and then began executing it. Hats off to them for being so bold and wanting to make a difference. I’m looking forward to working with Greg and the team,” says Mr Shaw.
RightWay CEO and co-founder Greg Sheehan is delighted Graham has seen the potential for RightWay to quickly become a global accounting and advisory firm.
“It’s been a long courtship but we got our man in the end!” says Greg Sheehan. “Plus, we’re a company seeking investment to accelerate its growth so it’s pretty cool to have a guy like Graham on my speed dial.”
Graham resigned as a Director of Xero in July this year after nearly nine years with the company. In January he joined the Board of Pushpay, which has just been named as the top company in the TIN 100 Hot Emerging Companies list.
