Well-known South Island developer John Darby has moved on to his next project and it involves a skifield.
Shania Twain’s ex-husband Mutt Lange, through his Soho Property company, has allowed Mr Darby to take over part of the Crown pastoral at Glencoe Station to develop a skifield.
Known to heli-ski companies and back-country skiiers for years, the run is now open in a limited way to the public for half day runs at $295 and full days at $580.
