The Auckland-based company's earnings compare with a $22.3 million profit in the same period last year.
Its total income from ordinary activities after tax attributable to shareholders was $6000.
Shareholders will receive a partially imputed quarterly dividend of 2.11cps as part of its long-term distribution policy.
