Speaker David Carter says he will revisit the matter if United Future is re-registered.
Peter Dunne is now classified as an independent MP and will lose more than $100,000 in party funding.
Speaker David Carter Mr Carter issued his decision today, saying he could no longer recognise United Future as a parliamentary party because of its lack of registration with the Electoral Commission.
He has ruled that as United Future is not registered, it is no longer eligible under Standing Orders.
Mr Carter said he would revisit the matter if United Future is re-registered.
This means Mr Dunne loses $122,000 of annual leader and party funding.
He also no longer has the right to speak on motions where all party leaders have the right to speak.
