TVNZ's director of sales and marketing has jumped ship to Mediaworks.

TVNZ’s director of sales and marketing has jumped ship to Mediaworks.
The TV3 owner has appointed Paul Maher as chief executive, television.
As well as leading the television side of the business, which includes TV3, TV3+1, FOUR and C4; he will also be the director of sales for MediaWorks TV, reporting to group managing director Sussan Turner.
Mr Maher described it as a dream job.
Before his 10-years at TVNZ, Mr Maher was chief executive of North Asia Starcom MediaVest Group and Managing Director for Starcom Hong Kong.
He co-founded Starcom NZ, and is a former general manager of TVNZ Agency Sales.
The last high-profile ship-jumper from TVNZ to TV3 was Mediaworks former chief executive Jason Paris, who made a shock resignation in June last year.
He is now Telecom's chief marketing officer.
