Garth McVicar speaks about Greg King
Just over a year ago top defence lawyer Greg King and the CEO of the Sensible Sentencing Trust, Garth McVicar, appeared on “The Nation” as they launched their “Justice Hot Tub”, a move to try and stimulate debate on criminal justice issues.
Shortly after that Mr King shot himself.
The corner’s decision on his death was issued this week and it contained a heartfelt tribute to him from Mr McVicar.
It turned out the pair, though they were from opposite sides of the debate on justice, were good friends.
