NZ POLITICS DAILY: And now for something completely different
Humour amid a boring campaign | Opening addresses rated.

It’s only four weeks to go, but it’s going to be very long, intense four weeks of electioneering.
Therefore politicos are advised to seek out whatever political humour and satire you can find, because much of the campaign is going to be pretty serious, and often very boring. Today’s recommendations, therefore, are Steven Braunias’ The Secret Diary Of ... Phil Goff, Imperator Fish’s The Leaders Debate: Some Predictions, and Dave Armstrong’s The miseries within a Treasury financial forecast.
Most attention over the past few days has been on the television opening addresses on Friday and Saturday nights.
