Next week Webb’s will be holding an auction featuring art works and mid-century design furniture.

The artists include Ralph Hotere, Peter Stichbury, John Reynolds, Dick Frizzell, Rohan Weallans and Allen Maddox.

Gordon Walters features, with an untitled koru work of yellow and grey bands excpected to sell for $40,000-60,000, Jeffrey Harris’s, Two Figures in a Landscape ($15,000-18,000) of 1987 is one of his expressionist works combing figures and landscape.and Tim Wilson's Matukituki ($8000 - $10,000)

There are three Stephen Bambury works utilising the cross form with a gold and red work Hanoi ($6000- 9000), a silver work Ghost XI ($5000-7000) and Of Colour and Material ($12,000- 15,000)

Earlier works include a Charles Blomfield of the White Terraces ($10,000-15,000) and a Sydney Lough Thompson Market Day, Concarneau ($8500–11,500)

They also have a selection of American and Scandinavian modernist 20th century design furniture including sideboards by Danish designers; Johannes Anderson ($6500-7500) and Henry Klein ($3000-4000) and a Charles & Ray Eames 'Aluminium Group' chair ($1400-1800) as well as a number of furniture pieces of mid-century design.
