Zest will help Ebos deliver its healthcare products.
Ebos Group [NZX: EBO] is acquiring an Australian healthcare communications business called Zest.
Ebos' Melbourne-based chief executive Patrick Davies says the purchase will complement distribution and market access services in the group.
Zest has experience in medical education, digital solutions, patient services, strategic consultancy, health service development, research and evaluation.
It will assist Ebos to expand its presence in delivering and administering pharmaceutical products.
Mr Davies says Zest has pioneered a range of specialised services to pharmaceutical companies for 10 years.
The combined strength of Ebos and Zest will enable full service for selected products from storage and distribution to program creation and management, as well as community-based access and administration.
He says many new products require innovative delivery models and Ebos is adapting its business to participate in these emerging opportunities.
Zest’s website provides more details about the company’s activities.
Ebos shares were down 7c at $13.58 at 3pm.
