NBR TOP PROPERTIES: Top five apartment sales

These are the top five apartment sales of the year thus far, based on data from PropertyIQ, which owns and operates QV.co.nz. 

All are sales that have settled and have been advised to the council.

This year's most expensive apartment is the only one in list not from Auckland. It is an apartment is the north tower the Eleven complex near Mt Maunganui’s waterfront. It is in the same complex as Sir Colin Giltrap, who reportedly paid $5.5 million for his penthouse apartment, in the south Tower. This penthouse takes the entire tenth floor of the tower. It includes a private rooftop pool and spa. NBR ONLINE understands the transaction was a private sale from the developer Robert Donald.
