These are the five biggest house sales by auction this year, across the whole of New Zealand. The data, provided by Property IQ, reflects sales which are been settled and recorded with the relevant council.
The five auctions which fetched the top prices are all from Auckland.
Property IQ research director Jonno Ingerson says is the region which sells the most homes by auction.
