The aim is to bring the best of New Zealand’s business and government leaders to your screens.
NBR is joining forces with the Trans-Tasman Business Circle to broadcast a series of presentations given by some of New Zealand’s most influential and respected business and government leaders.
The collaboration will allow NBR subscribers to access advice and inspiration from the country’s most established names as they share their professional insights and personal stories.
The first video broadcast tomorrow will feature a question and answer session with former prime minister Sir John Key about his journey from finance to politics to governance.
This will be followed this week by a post-budget special with Economic Development Minister David Parker.
Guests booked over the next few months include Natalie Davis (managing director of Countdown and Woolworths New Zealand) on how getting a team of 18,500 Kiwis behind a single purpose is the key to transformational change; Kirsty Godfrey-Billy (chief financial officer of Xero) who will talk about leading Xero’s global financial team; New Zealand Rugby chairman Brent Impey and chief executive Steve Tew who will address transformational leadership; and Jason Paris (Vodafone NZ chief executive ) who will talk about the workforce of the future and Vodafone’s digital journey.
NBR co-editors Tim Hunter and Fiona Rotherham said the Trans-Tasman Business Circle is a natural partner for NBR, given their shared commitment to providing high-level insights and information for New Zealand’s business and professional communities.
“This is not advertorial material we’re paid to promote. We know our subscribers will value the access we will be able to provide to some of the country’s most successful, talented and progressive business and political leaders.
“This is another example of NBR’s commitment to sourcing and sharing high-value, intelligent information.”
The Trans-Tasman Business Circle is a strategic-growth partner for the region’s leading organisations in the public and private sector, providing opportunities to grow relationships, profile, insights and business knowledge.
Trans-Tasman Business Circle’s New Zealand general manager Sharron Lloyd said the collaboration with NBR gives the business community digital access for the first time to the wealth of knowledge that the speakers bring in person.
“The Circle has spent the last 25 years providing content for its members in thought leadership on innovation, business growth and perspectives from the policymakers, regulators, business leaders and politicians. Now we can reach a far bigger audience than can attend the presentations in person.”
The presentations will be accessible through NBR.co.nz
