The Mark Lundy retrial has ended with a guilty verdict.
After 16 hours of deliberation over more than two days, the jury was unanimous in finding Mr Lundy guilty of the murder of his wife and daughter.
Justice Simon France reinstated the previous penalty made after the first trial and imposed a minimum non-parole period of 20 years.
Mr Lundy was first accused of killing his wife, Christine, and daughter, Amber, in August 2000.
He was first convicted two years later and, after spending 13 years in prison, a retrial was ordered by the Privy Council in Britain because his conviction was “unsafe.”
